Astronomy Course: Navigating the Night Sky

from $7.00

Are you more interested in what you can see with your own naked eye rather than taking a photo? No problem! Becoming an amateur astronomer is as simple as looking up, but it doesn’t hurt to know where to look. The following are included in this 2-hour:

  • Take a tour of the night sky and learn the following: the celestial markers exist to help you find your cardinal (compass) directions, the path of the sun, moon, and planets across the sky, as well as your favorite constellations, and more

  • Review two common types of telescopes (refracting and reflecting) and how to setup/operate them for visual use

The location for this course requires a space with an open, unobstructed view of the sky (especially north) and will be determined after signing up.

Refund policy: There are no refunds for cancellations, but you do retain your course purchase which can be scheduled for use on a mutually-beneficial future date for both client(s) and myself.
